Messy Race

Ray C.'s sister, Heather, planned a Messy Race for the kids during our visit over Spring Break.  Oh what fun....and what a mess!

1. Be the first person to burp after drinking a cup of Pepsi.
 2. Dump a party hat full of flour on your head.
 3. Put an egg between your ankles and walk.  If you drop the egg, you have to smash it on your head.
(When they refused to smash it on their heads, Uncle Glen was happy to help!)
By the way, the eggs were fresh from the chicken coup!  (Heather and Whit live on a farm.)
 4. Egg toss...which really turned in to pelting each other with eggs that didn't want to break! :)
 5. Pie in the face...

 6. Turn Uncle Glen into a human sundae!  (They poured caramel, chocolate,  cherries, and whipped cream ALL over Uncle Glen...
...and then Uncle Glen showed them how much he loved them!)
 7. Dump a tube of Mentos into a diet soda and watch it shoot like a geiser!
 8. Run to the hose and rinse it all off before stepping a foot in the house!
Even cleaning off was fun with the huge hoses.

Papa, Peppy, & Uncle Glen come to Texas

We were so excited to be able to stay home for Christmas this year and have family come to us! We are usually the ones doing the traveling at Christmas. So, it was very nice to be able to enjoy the holidays in our own home!Papa, Peppy, and Uncle Glen came a few days before Christmas and then left Christmas day. We loved hanging out with them and getting to know Peppy better!

Two Peas in a Pod - The older Thomas gets, the more I think he is like Papa!!
We were excited to take our company to NASA. My favorite part is visiting the Mission Control Room!
We were excited to see that NASA had a LEGO display this time! Check out the dragon behind us!

Are you ready for some football?

Check out this season's newest flag football player...At 48 pounds, he stands just under 4 feet and has a mean face that will make you cry!
Taking down the giant...Check Chase out holding that big guy! He has at least 2 years and 20 pounds on him!
Sir, yes sir!
I'm coming for you...
Maggie and Uncle Glen got to see Chase's first scrimmage! We were so excited they came for the weekend!
Good game! Vikings Rule!

Happy Birthday?

We have been in Florida this past week visiting Ray C.'s family and getting ready for his dad's wedding! Since we live so far away from family, Juanice decided to give our children a birthday party to make up for the birthdays missed! We were so grateful for her thoughtfulness. It was a great party and such a neat idea! The kids love playing with Uncle Glen. He aspires to be the BEST uncle ever! I'm pretty sure he's achieved it!!
Here she is - our new grandmother! The kids call her "Peppy". We love her so much. She has been so good to dad and so good to all of us! She is so precious and full of energy - thus the name "Peppy".

"Happy Birthday to Thomas, Mary Frances, and Chase..."
